Thank you to those Associates who completed the 2022 Associate Survey.
The Survey results will assist us in understanding your level of satisfaction in fulfilling assignments with CT Management Group. With Associates from a wide interstate geographical area, communication is always a challenge in meeting everyone’s expectation. This report provides a summary of information gathered from this year’s survey as feedback to Associates.
Introduction
The 2022 Associate Survey has resulted in a 34.74% response from Associates, which is an increase from 2021’s response rate of 30.95%.
Associates were asked to respond to 20 questions in a variety of question formats including scaling from 1-5 (1=low 5=high). The lowest average ranking this year was 3.22 compared to 2.71 in 2021 and the highest was 4.03 compared to 3.62 in 2021. These results indicate an increase compared with the previous year’s improvement.
The total average overall for 2022 was 3.61. A higher result compared to averages of 3.49 in 2021. The survey has provided a range of responses that will assist CT Management Group in developing an improvement plan for areas where comment or ranking has been lowest. As well as highlight areas we are performing well in.
Some associate comments from the survey include:
- Look forward to further opportunities to meet other Associates.
- Phone calls and emails always returned promptly.
- Access of information generally is not accessible until a request is made and then CT Team follow up. This process in my opinion works well if timely responses are received.
- Malcolm is excellent in his communications.
- Yes, very good feedback from client and Malcolm.
- Contact is made on an as needs basis and work available.
- CT’s always keep in contact.
- Yes, the Associate information sessions have been very valuable. Great work!
- These have been great so far. Really appreciate being involved.
- I enjoyed the Road Management Plan update work I have completed over the last couple of years.
Results Summary
The survey also indicated additional opportunities for improvement including:
- Hardly any contact and no assignments, feel like there are favourites who get all the work.
- A copy of the proposal would be helpful and should be supplied.
- I recommend a resource/template portal for works. I think an assumption can be made that all team members on the same page, I think this can be led more.
- Depends on the project but most of the time once the engagement letter is signed, not much contact from CT happens. Then again, it is not often required. The communication regarding CT’s own projects though could be better.
- I only receive contact from CT when about to be or already engaged on a job. It would be good to have contact before the engagement is offered, say at the time of bidding rather than once the job is allocated to me.
- More contact would be ideal. Updates on projects/work available could be provided.
- Need to reintroduce the “Associates Day”.
- I recommend a TEAMs interactive lead workshop/interactions.
- Yes, TEAM meeting every few months is a great idea.
Improvement Opportunities being or to be introduced
