IPWEA Victoria’s Public Works Foundations Program is a series of eight online courses designed to develop the skills of public works professionals in key responsibility areas.
- 15 March: Project Management
Many people find themselves managing projects without the benefit of project management training. This course is designed to teach participants the language, terminology, structures and tools of modern project management.
- 12 April: Procurement & Contract Management
Transparent procurement and effective contract management processes are vital. This course introduces key concepts and provides a foundational-level overview of best-practice procurement methods and contract management approaches.
- 10 May: Resource Management
Productive collaboration between public works professionals and their project colleagues is vital. This course introduces the principles of best-practice financial and human resource management to develop foundational leadership skills.
IPWEA Victoria’s SEE23 Public Works Conference will showcase the people and projects making a difference in Victoria’s public works sector.
