As we are all aware, business development is the lifeblood of businesses providing consulting services. We have a number of senior people who are focused on ensuring that opportunities and leads are chased down and converted into fee paying jobs for our associates. This is all one area where associates can assist us in identifying new or additional work.
When working directly with councils, associates are in a great position to identify potential opportunities such as:
- a variation to their existing contracts
- new project opportunities or
- identifying council gaps in resources, service delivery or other organisational needs.
The other area where assistance is always appreciated, is where associates through their own networks or knowledge of councils, facilitate introductions/pass on recommendations of prospective associates.
If you become aware of any opportunities, then please do not hesitate to contact your Regional Manager to assist in turning leads into fee paying work for either yourselves or your fellow colleagues.
To quote the old Aristotle phrase, “The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts”.
This is still very apt for organisations such as CT Management Group.
