Donna Johnston (VIC) – Financial Management

Donna Johnston is an accomplished finance professional with a robust background in project management and strategic leadership. With a commitment to community-minded initiatives, Donna excels in building and leading multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment. She possesses a forward-thinking approach, particularly in developing systems and procedures that streamline operations and achieve sustainable outcomes.

Donna has demonstrated significant expertise in managing large budgets and long-term financial planning across various sectors, including health, local government, and land development.

Adrian Gray (VIC) – Landscape Architect & Public Realm Specialist

Adrian Gray is an accomplished landscape architect and public realm specialist with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. His expertise lies in the creation and implementation of placemaking policies and strategies that deliver high-quality public realm projects. With a focus on blue and green infrastructure, Adrian has played a pivotal role in making municipalities like Brimbank and Maribyrnong more liveable, resilient, and sustainable. His work has transformed the public realm into spaces that not only engage the community but also address critical challenges such as heatwaves, pandemics, and flooding. Adrian’s career is marked by his ability to lead large-scale urban design projects that significantly impact the community.

Jo Ruffin (VIC) – Community Engagement

Jo Ruffin, PhD, is an accomplished professional with a deep and diverse background in community engagement, rural place-making, economic development, and policy analysis. Her academic journey is marked by a Doctor of Philosophy from Torrens University, where she honed her research and analytical skills, complemented by earlier studies in public policy and sector management at the University of Tasmania and RMIT. Jo’s academic prowess is underscored by several prestigious awards, including the J.B. Thompson Award for Administration and recognition for the most outstanding workplace project in public sector management.

Peter Gall (VIC) – Project Management

Peter Gall is a seasoned civil engineer with a remarkable career spanning over four decades, blending extensive experience in both local government and private industry. His journey began in 1983 as a Technical Officer, where he quickly demonstrated a natural aptitude for engineering and project management. In 1997, Peter formalised his technical skills by earning a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the University of Ballarat, marking the beginning of a career that would see him tackle some of the most challenging infrastructure projects across Australia.
