Caitlin Kirby – National Placement Manager
What a pleasure it was to come together for this year’s Associates Day – to reconnect, celebrate, and reflect on what our Associate network has achieved since our last gathering two years ago.
In my presentation, I shared a snapshot of CT Management Group’s continued positive impact across the sectors we serve. Together, we’ve delivered major infrastructure and asset management projects, governance and finance reforms, strategic planning initiatives, operational uplifts, and organisational reviews – all contributing to stronger, more sustainable clients.
Over the past couple of years, CT has supported more than 60 councils and government agencies across four states, delivering over 200 individual project and placement engagements. We’ve seen steady demand in Victoria, renewed activity in Queensland and New South Wales, and exciting new opportunities emerging in Tasmania. The demand for experienced leaders in asset management, project delivery, governance, and financial sustainability continues to drive much of our engagement across the sector.
While we shared and celebrated project and placement outcomes, I also wanted to highlight what truly sets CT Management Group apart – our Associate network. With 122 Associates bringing decades of leadership and technical expertise, our collective strength lies not only in meeting today’s challenges but in future-proofing capability for tomorrow.
As we look ahead, a key focus for CT will be connection and knowledge sharing – ensuring our Associates feel part of a cohesive network and that our breadth and depth of expertise is understood, leveraged, and retained for the next generation. In that spirit, we encourage Associates to use their time in the field to stay curious and connected – to identify emerging needs, share insights, and help open doors to potential opportunities for themselves and their fellow Associates.
Each of you holds a unique vantage point as trusted partners, helping clients tap into the breadth of expertise across CT and shaping where we can add value next. By sharing what you see and hear across the sector, you strengthen our network, enrich client relationships, and help to support a continuous flow of opportunities for our network.
Thank you to everyone who continues to represent CT proudly in the field, and to those patiently awaiting their next assignment – your contribution is deeply valued. Together, we’re shaping a stronger, more resilient sector.
